5 simple steps that will change your life

Do you ever feel like your life is on auto-pilot? Do you feel like you are stuck in a rut? Like you’re doing the same old routine, still working for the same job that you hate and living the same old dreary life; and every day you constantly feel this emptiness, like you are longing for something to happen. You know you crave change. You want change. You need change. But the problem is we don’t know how to change.

We are often so fixated on our current situation that we completely forget the fact that we are in charge of our lives. We have the power to make change happen. If you are living this life, then don’t worry. You are not alone. A lot of people go through the same paths as you do. I did too and it took a while for me to realize that this is my life and I can do whatever I want as long as I put my heart and soul to it and I know you can do it too. Let’s start by making small changes, baby steps, and to help you out I’ll share 5 easy steps that will change your life.

Accept change.

Of course, in order for change to really happen you must be open to it first. Change is the only constant thing in this world. I know sometimes change can be hard, it can be scary and it will take a lot of courage to really admit that something needs to change but it will take much more courage to make change happen. So find that courage within you.

Change your job.

Is your job getting you down, ALL THE TIME? Do you feel like you are still at work even on your days off? The thing about being stuck in a job you hate is it consumes you every waking moment- it’s soul sucking. I know we work for different reasons and most of the time it’s not that easy to just quit and leave without knowing what will happen next. However working without any passion is meaningless. This is only stopping you from reaching your highest potential.


Stop making excuses.

Have you been putting something off that you have been planning to do or wanting to do ever since?  If your answer is yes, let me ask you this question, are you putting this off just because you’re too lazy to do it, or you feel like you don’t have the time to start it or is it really because you are too afraid to take that risk, too afraid to make that change? I know it’s scary, but ask yourself are you willing to just settle for less even if you were meant to do so much more? Will you let your excuses stop you from reaching your full potential?

Learn to love yourself.

I know this is cliché. However for many of us, this is easier said than done. Most of the time we are even too hard on ourselves, we constantly set high standards, always striving for perfection, always comparing ourselves, our success to other people. We are constantly trying to be someone we were not meant to be and by doing this we are missing out on the chance to live the amazing life that was meant for us. So start by recognizing how remarkable and special YOU are and trust me amazing changes will follow.


Live YOUR life.

You have the power to change your life. You are the master of your own destiny, You have the choice to change.  So if want something to happen, if you want something to change don’t just sit around and wait for it instead take each day as a new day to make something happen.

Always remember that you are meant to do great things, We all are. We just need to have faith and find the courage to make it happen.
