A collection of inspirational feelings quotes and quotes about feelings to inspire you to embrace your emotions and to not be afraid of being vulnerable.
Most of us are guilty of running away from our feelings. We often think it’s easier to just keep our feelings and emotions at bay and just ignore it, thinking it will all just go away.
But the thing is, keeping our feelings and emotions bottled up is not only unfair to us, but it also stops us from growing, from healing, and from letting go.
Yes, you may think that it’s so much easier to just ignore what you truly feel and everything will eventually be okay, that you will eventually be okay.
But the truth is, in order for us to heal and move forward, we must allow ourselves to be vulnerable and to feel what we are truly feeling.
If you’re sad, allow yourself to be sad. Don’t block yourself from feeling those negative emotions, just because you think that you are not strong enough to face them.
Because you are, you are so much stronger than you think and whatever negative emotion it is that you are hiding from, you will get through it, but the only way out is through — you have to allow yourself to open up to those negative emotions and feel it.
Set yourself free. Stop pretending that you’re okay. Stop putting on that fake smile. It’s okay to not be okay. You don’t have to keep pretending.
You are allowed to feel all emotions. Whatever it is that you are feeling right now is valid.
Being vulnerable does not mean that you are weak. For me, I believe that vulnerability takes courage and strength. Strength that we all have inside of us if we just allow ourselves to open up.
